Many children are sensitive souls, but only become anxious and fearful due to a bad experience. Dr Owen modifies her approach for children of differing temperaments. It’s important that we build your child’s confidence and trust by obtaining their dental information in a positive, caring way. Dr Owen’s nurturing approach comes from years of experience in caring for children, each and every working day.
As Dr Owen only treat kids, things can work differently here, compared to a regular dentist. Whilst your child happily plays with toys, on the practice IPads or relaxes with their favourite movie on the ceiling mounted TV, we can discuss their dental situation. Wherever possible we use clinical photographs to help demonstrate their dental problems, and then explain how we can fix things. Tailored oral health preventive advice is an important part of your child’s dental care at TKD.
